I’ve been using this specific face cream for over three years. It lasts forever and I always buy more. It is one of the only creams that doesn’t make my face break out. I even mix it with my foundation to make a sort of BB cream and it keeps my face from drying out. I use it after washing my face in the evening, and as a whole body lotion. It’s great on your hands for dry skin especially in winter, without leaving an oily or greasy residue. It’s the only lotion I can stand to use on my hands without wiping it off of the palms and fingers. Highly recommend!

I kid…. But it is SO addicting. Idk what it is about it. But something about it makes me only want to use this. *I* think it smells like black licorice or anise (my husband disagrees.. He says it smells like coconut) and I don’t even LIKE black licorice but I just LOVE the smell of it. I can’t put my finger on it. It lightly moisturizes. If you have severely dry skin, this may not be enough. But I use it on my whole body, I love it that much. I will use this as long as they make it. A bottle lasts me a long time, almost a year. Something about it is so comforting. I like how it really sinks in. It absolutely does not feel like one of those products that sits on top of the skin. After I get out of the shower with freshly washed, shaved, itchy and clean skin, I can’t wait to put this on everywhere and my skin feels happy!

I first purchased this item in a local health food store, and didn’t notice that it is meant to be a face cream. In my defense, it doesn’t say anything about it on the front of the bottle…but no matter, because I loved it as a night cream for my hands and lower arms, works beautifully! Before bed I apply it to my hands and arms, the scent is lovely and not overly perfumed, and it absorbs quickly. I noticed that it did a better job of softening and moisturizing the skin than other products I had used that were meant for hands, so now I bought another bottle. I can’t attest to the results for the face, as I have oily skin and only use light serums on my face…but I do recommend trying this product because I think it is actually quite flexible in its uses. I use other Alaffia products and all of them have been wonderful.
