This was recommended to me by my new hairdresser after taking one look at my dry, frizzy corkscrews. And I’m not disappointed. For years I’ve been using one Lush product after another in step as they would discontinue them, and that was all well and good. But Ice Curls is a different beast.It’s a conditioning gel, with amazing hold. It keeps my hair in much tighter, smoother ringlets, but they ARE NOT crunchy once fully dried and given a quick squeeze. And the amount you get for the price is awesome; it’s a generous sized pot, it’ll last me a while (which with the amount of hair I have, is quite a feat!)

This is now the only hair gel I use with my curling sponge on my hair and they are a perfect pair to leave my hair looking just the way I want it. I love this gel.

This is my third time buying for 2c to 3a hair. I use this in addition to a cream for extra hold/definition, also handy to mix in hands with water to refresh. I don’t know if it actually helps with shrinkage as I was not using it for that, have the opposite problem with needing it to encourage the curls which it seems to do!
