Finally a mousse that doesn’t leave your hair crunch.. product has sheen and moisturizer but not enough to last the entire day. I use a leave in conditioner too. This is the best mousse I’ve encountered.

Great effect on my hair (4C)! I absolutely love this product! Wow!! It was nice to have finally found a product that leaves my hair hydrated and moisturized. When it dries it doesn’t dry crunchy. The product is worth the price and the definition of the curls is undeniable!! I use the mousse as part of a three part mixture with another Design Essential product (Coconut & Moni Curl Defining Gelee) and a climate control (another brand) and apply to my hair and depending on how much time I want to spend on my hair, I do either finger coils, or I use the first 2-3 teeth of a fine tooth rat tail comb to create great curls on top, and the sponge for the sides and back. It’s amazing how the right products can transform your hair. And the curls last! This product is a must have! Great results! I’m loving my curls! I’m often asked if my hair has been texturized. The answer is, “Nope”, and I say, it’s a matter of finding the right products. It makes all the difference! I use the mousse about 2-3 a week for my sides and back, just to keep the curls looking fresh.

I don’t normally use mousse because it isn’t heavy enough hold for my hair, but I love this stuff. I combine this with a gel and it holds great. It is a heavier hold mousse. I mostly use this for smoothing fly aways when I have my hair up. Pretty much all mousse will be crunchy when it dries. You just need to scrunch the crunch out. This is the only mousse I have found that does not flake!

I’ve hesitated to use mousse, thinking it would be like the stiff, sticky, shiny drug store brands you used in high school. Not so! I love this stuff! It’s light, moisturizing and surprisingly does a great job defining my curls. I have thick, long hair which can be pretty heavy. This stuff does a great job maintaining my curls throughout the day, and keeps it from being frizzy. I use it with Tigi Catwalk and have found my perfect combo.

Full transparency here: I utilize this for my human hair wigs to make waves (by applying plaits(The smell is heavenly. Very airy and fresh. What I like about this product the most if the buildable hold. Want more of a light hold, 2-3 pumps will do you. Want LASTING hold, increase the number of pumps.The only complaint I have is that this product DOES leak if it is on it’s side too long.

I have naturally curly hair that is light to medium in coarseness. I always used to use mousse that was not foam and I was having a difficult time finding it. I purchased this in place of my regular one and it is now my new regular. I don’t like all foam mousse but this one reduces frizz and holds without having that product feel. My hair feels like there is nothing in it. It does not weigh my curls down, only enhances them.
