Mixed Chicks Conditioning Cleansing Co-Wash
Co–washing is short for “conditioner-only washing.” It means skipping shampoo & relying solely on conditioner, whether you’re a daily or a weekly washer. The result is something between squeaky-clean and second-day hair – smoother, softer, and easier to manage. The Mixed Chicks Co-Wash is a creamy, “no lather” (very low-lather) cleanser. A shampoo alternative that uses jojoba and castor oils to help clean hair and add shine. Cleanse, Hydrate, Detangle!

How it started
For years, multi-cultural people with hard to manage hair traveled from store to store, trying to blend products in a hopeless attempt to tame their locks. Wendi Levy (left) and Kim Etheredge (right), two “mixed chicks”, created a product line because they needed it. Then, something happened…friends and family started encouraging them to package it, and soon they had a full blown business running out of the garage. After a little door to door hustling and a few celebrity endorsements, MIXED CHICKS is bringing their products to the world.

I love this co wash and find it leaves my hair feeling super clean and soft. I’m trying to follow the CG method and this is one of the best products I’ve found for my protein sensitive hair. The only thing that bothered me about it is that the price has gone up by £4 since the last time I bought some so I’ve had to shop around to find it elsewhere at a more reasonable price. It is certainly still a lot more than I used to pay for conditioners and shampoos full of stuff that was clearly bad for my hair but my hair has not felt this soft in years so I reckon it’s worth it.

I bought this product, along with the leave-in conditioner, for my granddaughter, who has mixed hair, and it works perfectly for her! We had been trying for the longest to find the right product for her hair, and we finally tried this one, and it works great!

Love this product🌟- easily detangled my mature, curly, and often difficult to comb hair! Keeps my hair clean, moisturized and soft.Had been buying from Target or Ulta but hasnt been available at those sites so got here. Unfortunately the one time Amazon shipped me an item in minimal packaging and tube’s sealed end split, so arrived with lots of product in bag and on container😕 Hope this is an isolated shipping error.

This is the best co wash I’ve found. I have mixed hair. Dad is black and mom was white. And I over bleached my hair last summer leaving it a hot mess. This is the only thing to make it soft again. Highly recommend

Love this product. It arrived damaged but they reimbursed me. Not a full tube since a great deal leaked out. Nonetheless works very well and detangles curly hair well
