How it started
For years, multi-cultural people with hard to manage hair traveled from store to store, trying to blend products in a hopeless attempt to tame their locks. Wendi LEVY (left) and Kim ETHEREDGE (right), two “mixed chicks”, created a product line because they needed it. Then, something happened…friends and family started encouraging them to package it, and soon they had a full blown business running out of the garage. I don’t know what made me buy this but I definetly am wondering how I didn’t try this sooner. It has the absolute best hold. I didn’t know my hair could look good on the second day. I usually put it up. But my hair looked better than it did on the first day using this. I got the small and my only issue was that I wanted more

Great refresher foam! I would definitely recommend this to curly haired girls’. That said, I did see that the 8oz bottle is only $19.99 a shopper and this 3.4 oz bottle was $14 on here so i wont be purchasing from amazon again.

This works best on dry day 2 and 3 hair. Don’t be stingy and scrunch the crunch after it has dried.

I have 2C/3A curls and try to only wash my hair twice a week. I’ve been looking for, and trying, many different products to help defrizz and revive my hair on non-wash days. Mixed Chicks Morning After Redefining Hair Foam is the best product I’ve tried. It helps with frizz and revives my curls without making my hair flat and greasy. I bought the 3oz size to try and now have ordered the 8 oz.This is a lightweight foam with a mild clean scent. I like the foam to be able to apply to targeted areas versus a spray that covers a wide area. I also apply BWC Spray Gel to give my curls some hold then I blow dry using a diffuser. My hair looks almost as good as wash day!!I highly recommend!!

Worked well refreshing my curls, easy and quick to use, and personally i liked the scent. I get its strong for some but to me it has a fresh citrusy fragrance. My hair is mixed and 2c-3c and gets very dry with other brands but mixed chicks products are helping to keep it more frizz free than before, so will stick with them. Also bought the deep and leave in conditioners. All good so far!

This stuff is magic I swear. I have 2c wavy/ curly hair and only wash twice a week, then do the curly girl method routine and diffuse on wash day. The next day all I do is spritz my hair with a little water, finger curl any messy waves, rope this through my dry waves and my hair looks just as great as day 1. It takes away frizz, makes hair super shiny, gives volume, and restructures any flattened or messy curls/waves. Only wish they sold a bigger bottle because using 3 times a week, it only lasted about a month.

One of the best curl refreshers add with a tiny bit of gel to eat your curls bouncy again , the size makes it easy to throw in a bag for the gym , with the larger size used at home … a bit pricey but worth it !
