How it started
For years, multi-cultural people with hard to manage hair traveled from store to store, trying to blend products in a hopeless attempt to tame their locks. Wendi Levy (left) and Kim Etheredge (right), two “mixed chicks”, created a product line because they needed it. Then, something happened…friends and family started encouraging them to package it, and soon they had a full blown business running out of the garage. After a little door to door hustling, a few celebrity endorsements, and a ton of online customer support, MIXED CHICKS is bringing their products to the world.

This shampoo lathers nicely and leaves my hair squeaky clean and super soft. I do not color my hair now, but when I did it worked equally as well. This was packaged with care including foam wrap around the nozzle “just in case”. Most excellent scores from this consumer!

This is a great shampoo. It is not harmful or damaging for the hair. In addition, it prevents frizz. It is a thick shampoo. It almost feels like a moisturizing conditioner. It doesn’t dry out the hair or the scalp. This is the only shampoo I will use. I even use it at the salon, most of the products you’ll find in a salon are so damaging for hair. It’s amazing salons even maintain clientele considering their harsh products. Give this one a try. You won’t regret it. Forewarning, it doesn’t lather like a typical shampoo. I use this as a shampoo or I use TGel shampoo which is excellent for the scalp and I use a very expensive conditioner from Korea on my hair after the shampoo. My hair half way down my back. I’ve learned a lot about hair after traveling the world a little bit and after years of getting my hair done researching and studying the human body in general. Hair is an organ it is as sensitive to chemicals as the rest of the body is. This shampoo while not totally chemical free doesn’t harm the hair and removes the most harsh ones typically found in hair products

Wow! This shampoo exceeded all my expectations. It makes a lot of lather even though sulfate-free. Really does not tangle my hair. I’m white with pretty curly hair that tangles with most shampoos, to the point of nails ripping. Not this one!It has a very light, neutral scent and best of all, I have not seen shine like this in YEARS.

It’s the best moisturizing shampoo and inexpensive on the market. I love the entire line to the deep conditioner to the leave in conditioner to the hair gel and I’ve had people who’ve known me forever give me compliments now that I don’t straighten my hair and I let it air dry totally. I also use the second day hair product and only wash my hair once a week sometimes twice since it summer. It’s a great product line.
