Full disclosure: I’m white, I have wavy 2b hair, and I use this in a very shortened version of the curly girl method.I was a little hesitant to try this product because I was worried it would have a strong rose scent, but it smells very light and the scent doesn’t linger. The texture is nice too, like a facial serum. I flip my head over after my hair has been re-dampened and scrunch into the ends. Letting it air dry after gives me really nice results: soft waves without using heat, very little frizz (i’m naturally frizzy unfortunately), and it almost always holds throughout the day. Highly recommend if you’re new to the curly girl method, or just want something light and uncomplicated to add to your haircare routine 🙂

Works great with my curls, which are a mixture of curl and straight! Can be activated with water & diffuser on high cold air. I recommend gel first, then water, comb/brush/finger comb, and lastly diffuse! Doesn’t take too long either!

My hair is only about 4 inches long. After using the leave-in conditioner and the styling gel, my poor hair shrunk into the tiniest of tiny fros. Lol I just hoped that this was going to give me some fullness. I still gave it 5 stars for bringing out the natural curls.

Will this lay edges? Kinda I still use eco for that but this gel is the bees knees. No heavy residue and nice hold. I do have to reapply it though every other day but other than that I love it. Nice fresh and not overwhelming perfume scent. Washed out very easily just use warm water when you shampoo . Curls are moisturized and popping!

This stuff is amazing! I have thin, fine naturally curly hair. It frizzes easily and by the end of the day I don’t have curls, I have a head full of frizz! I used this gel yesterday and today I still have curls! No frizz!!! I am completely impressed and will definitely order more!

My friend used spirals rods and this with some mousse on my hair and I loved it! It smells amazing and of course— ROSE WATER! The only thing was the top of the pump was broken when I received it but I was still able to use it if I gently pushed the pump. The style lasted pretty long without any additional product needed. Would definitely recommend, just hope they pack it better in the future.
